Wedding 2020 Update

So I have officially moved our wedding to 2021. This update comes a few months late as I moved everything in mid-May. Fortunately, all of my vendors were available for November 20, 2021. I’ve not signed new contracts and picked up my dress and veil. My fiancé and I planned to marry this year but have our wedding next year. Our minister has done our marriage counseling and we are ready to jump the broom!

However, that has also changed. We have decided to wait to marry until next year as well. Our reasons were to save more of our income. I’m fortunate to still live at home and can use this opportunity to my benefit and he can continue to pay a lower rent rate living where he’s at. There are several other reasons why this decision was made but that will be in a later post. 

Currently, I haven’t thought about my wedding planning at all because…well nothing has been going as planned. I’ve thought about changing my wedding colors and how many people we invite but I’m really not settled on anything. This pandemic has taken a toll on my fiancé and the last thing he cares about is planning details. I’ll continue to think of ideas and write them in my wedding planner but for the most part the planning has paused.
